WELCOME TO 2003!! IT PROMISES TO BE OUR BIGGEST YEAR EVER!!

I'm not sure if you have come to this page by accident, or whether it was what you were actually looking for, but stick around and have a browse!

We are the team affectionately known as the UTS Ski Club. We are not only known, but feared by all other Universities. We drink the most, party the hardest, sleep the least and ski the fastest. In 2003 we took out 3rd place in a hotly contested battle of the universities in Thredbo. But we were the clear winner of the "Spirit of the Mountain" award for the best support crew!

As you can see, there is something for everyone to do in the club. If you ski fast, we'd love to have you join the race team. If you drink lots and party hard, then we need you as Instructors. Social Instructors that is. Heavy drinking is an art, and we need competent teachers. And if you don't sleep much, then we will need you to be our alarm clocks so that we don't miss first lift! Oh, and if you don't drink and don't ski, then we could do with a new admin officer....

I guess you could say that the team is multi-faceted. But we are students and don't understand what that means. So.. We do heaps of different stuff! The team puts a heavy emphasis on its social side. We have our social trip and we have parties. On the more serious side, we have our racing. We are always recruiting for both aspects and welcome you to ask any questions about either!

As the club grows in size and stature, we are attracting growing interest from sponsors. Even as you read this, we are negotiating new deals. They look after us well, and we appreciate their support!

The committee are well experienced in the ways of the skiing world... check them out and see which one you want to pick up at a party or on social week!!!
